A question that we’re often asked about our Expedition Vehicles is “Why do you choose electric instead of gas for your BBQ’s?”, and the primary reason is simply due to the amount of power we can store in our MasterVolt Lithium battery systems, not to mention other limitations that gas creates when your off grid for extended periods of time.
Kenyon has always been our trusted electric BBQ brand and we’re happy with the low current draw that it pulls, along with the very quick heat up time and easy “no-fuss” cleanability.
Typically located on the left-hand rear side of the motorhome, under the protection of the side mounted awning, the BBQ is on a fixed slide locking system that can be easily pulled out for cooking, and then stowed when not in use. This area has been identified as the perfect spot for cooking up a feast and enjoying the ambience of the great outdoors.
The BBQ offers waterproof touch control functionality and a 1300-Watt element that provides the user with full control to cook anything in their repertoire.
It also features a cast aluminum grate that is double coated in the longest lasting medical grade, non-stick coating available which is PFOA free.
The lid and grate can all be easily cleaned by placing in the dishwasher to keep your grill looking new for years to come.
